How Wisconsin responds after their disappointing loss to Michigan State is the million dollar question. If they play uninspired football with their heads hung low and their tails between their legs. They will be in trouble. Braxton Miller might be young and inexperienced, but he definitely has the ability to beat an uninspired Wisconsin team. However, I think the Badgers will be motivated and primed to pour their wrath out on the Buckeyes. Look for Russell Wilson to have a great day as the Badgers roll over the Buckeyes. #17Michigan(6-1) – Purdue (4-3) For the first six weeks of the season [...]

In my opinion the winner of this game will have clear sailing all the way to the Big 10 CCG. Michigan State’s QB, Kirk Cousins, is an excellent game manager and makes few mistakes, but it will be Sparty’s defense that leads the way to victory. Shutting down Taylor Martinez will not be an easy task, but the Spartan defense will get the job done.. Welcome to the Big 10 Nebraska!

 #12 Wisconsin Badgers (6-1) -OhioState (4-3)

The Buckeyes were looking to play spoiler this weekend, but Michigan State beat them to it.

#17Michigan(6-1) – Purdue (4-3)

For the first six weeks of the season Michigan looked like the greatest thing since sliced bread … until Illinois exposed them…..and the whole world got to see what they already suspected… …Michigan has trouble with teams that can play defense …… Purdue, fresh off an upset win over Illinois, will come into the game with a smile on their face and brimming with confidence. But it wont take Denard Robinson long to wipe that smile off the Boilmakers faces. He will rack up more yards than an illegal Mexican gardener. Purdue who?

#21PennState(7-1) -Illinois(6-2)

This is the week we will find out if Illinois’ season goes from rags to riches or riches to rags. If the Illini lose…their season for all intents and purposes will be a bust. I think Penn State should win this game easily, but if Illinois plays like they got nothing to lose then this may end up being one of the more exciting games of the weekend. Don’t miss this game , it has all the markings of being a slobberknocker.

Now for the bottom dwellers. The Big 10 Network should black out these games and save their viewers some suffering.

Indiana(1-7) – Northwestern (2-5).

Northwestern’s record does not reflect this team’s true capabilities. They have endured some tough losses this season … they are hungry for some more wins …. The Good Book says “Spare the rod and spoil the child “ …. There will be no spoiling this week … the Wildcats are going to beat the Hoosiers like “misbehaving 4 year olds at K-mart “.

Iowa(5-2) -Minnesota(1-6)

Circle the wagons and hobble the horses. A massacre is about to happen.. Iowa currently sits in 3rd place. They are in need of a few more wins to salvage the season and to get an invite to a respectable bowl….. you can bet your bottom dollar that they plan to extend their winning streak with Minnesota …. It looks like an already horrible season is going to get worse for the “Golden Gophers” .Can you say bloodbath. There will be more Gopher blood spilt on Saturday than is spilt on a Dexter episode.

Well, there you have it folks. My opinions and thoughts about how things will shake out this weekend in the Big 10. But take it with a grain of salt, because I have never been accused of being the sharpest tack in the box. Still my momma thought I was smart. In fact, she thought that I was so bright that she called me son.
