Hello to all! I'm known around these parts as Bucks24-7, my given name is Fred. I was born in Cincinnati, right in the heart of Big 10 Football Country. I didn't become a Buckeye fan, I was raised to be one. That's why I think we have such a loyal fan base, it's a right of passage becoming a Buckeye fan. My father was in the army when I was a kid, it was hard keeping up with our beloved Bucks. I remember back in the 90's, we were stationed in Germany, and The Game was coming up. If I remember correctly, OSU and UM were both ranked in the top 10, if not top 5. Anyway, because of the time difference, we woke up around 2:00 in the morning, drove to the army base, and went to the recreation center to watch the game. That's the kind of dedication Bucks fans have. I also pull for my parents Alma maters, Maryland for my dad, and Texas Christian for my step mom. Finally, I am a fan of the Cincinnati Bearcats, yep, a local team homer, but you probably know how that goes. I hope you find my Blogs insightful and amusing. Go Bucks!!
